The White Stripes Change Their Name to The Whistle... →
Apple Computer, Inc. recently changed the name of American rock act The White Stripes to The Whistle Stripes before realizing the Cupertino, CA-based company was not in the position to change the band’s name and thereon renamed the band a second time, back to The White Stripes. No word yet on whether Apple also remarried Jack and Meg Whistle.
